the day before the Century Tuna Superbods Run, i was up early to visit my dentist. it was time to tighten my lower teeth - change wires change rubber. the minute i stepped out, pain sank in. my abs was troubling me all the way from pasay to north edsa, and only in trinoma that i confirmed my red tide has started. grr. i did not want to go home yet, i knew i had to buy running shorts, belt bag and a top for my thursday interview. so with the pains in my teeth and abs, i scouted for a top and a pair of shorts. i lost track of time, i was there from 1pm to 5pm. when i got home, i was still motivated to progress with my visual basic project. i decided to sleep with rainbow bruises, tight teeth and constricting abs. i was able to sleep 7-9, then 11-2:50. i got dressed, contacted basti, and off we went to The Fort.
we arrived at The Fort at around 4:30 am. i was already overwhelmed, it was a big event after all. we somehow familiarized ourselves with the area, (portalets, changing rooms, baggage counters) and waited for the gunshot around 5:30pm. Emcees were Rovilson and Trisha C., it was more than satisfactory the way they handled the event. we started good, though 3k runners were crowding the starting line of the 5k runners. the temperature was okay, i was feeling better. there were a few stops majorly because of the crowd, so we had to have mini routes. oh well, so because of this, midway i tripped on some wire because i had to reroute through the sidewalk. bad idea, and more bruises and marks. we stopped for 3 mins approximately. i had to catch my breath.. adrenaline was pumping and i had the urge to speed up. i anticipated pain but it was not there yet. we finished 42 mins after we started. again, not bad.
the set-up of the go-see is like fair grounds. but with cooler people and cooler stuff. we got a breakfast package, drinks, magazines, goodies, etc. we sat somewhere, not minding people.
just sitting anywhere we could. and enjoying breakfast. =)
celebrities are around, and i only cared about marc nelson. (i knew he wouldn't run, but thank goodness, he's the correspondent on the ABS-CBN's coverage.

hahaha... di ko talaga makalimutan na super blush ka dahil kay marc nelson....
